When can i sign up my oiler?
Registration is divided into two categories, Legacy and Open.
A legacy player is one that meets one of the following requirements:
1. Played as an Oiler the immediately preceding year.
2. Is a first year Freshman player (7 or 8 years of age).
3. Is the sibling of an Oiler or Doll who themselves participated in the immediately preceding year.
Legacy registrants have priority over open registrants up to the first open registration date or announced date of legacy rights termination. After legacy rights are terminated there can be no reinstatement of legacy rights. Legacy rights also terminate if there was a refund given during the prior year for any reason.
Legacy registration occurs in February or March preceding the playing year.
Open registration occurs AFTER legacy registration and generally has 3-4 dates at various locations throughout the AAYFDT district. Usually one in Spring, one in Tomball and one in Klein.
